As a result of over 25 years experience as a touring/recording musician, as a recording engineer/producer, as a mastering engineer, and as a successful industry entrepreneur/executive, our founder has developed patent-pending circuitry and speaker enclosure solutions that deliver a multidimensional musical experience for everyone involved – including the musician, the ensemble (band), the production engineers and ultimately: the audience.

At 3RD POWER, we don’t believe that our job is done until ‘great tone’ is experienced by everyone in the house.

Jamie Scott: Founder/Designer/Visionary
The concepts and core technologies have been a private development of his for over 25 years having been refined through his extensive work as a recording and touring musician, and recording and mastering engineer. His work with manufacturers in the music industry have inspired products from Xwire to X2 Digital Wireless/Line 6. His industry executive experience with these and esteemed manufacturers such as Sennheiser USA round out his sales and marketing skills.

What is different about 3RD POWER?
According to Scott, "This is my baby. 3RD POWER represents the culmination of my entire life experiences thus far. This is also something that I am deeply connected to personally."

Scott explains, "I am the son of a hippie. From birth, my mother had exposed me to music/art and the sense of free spirit. She was a costume designer (and later graduated from UCLA) often making cloths for bands from the '60s. We spent time with Bo Diddley, the Grateful Dead and even crossed paths with Jimi Hendrix one day while at a park in Seattle. Sadly, I lost my mother to a long battle with diabetes early 2009. When she passed, my siblings and I got together to sort through her things. There wasn't much, but what was there was artful and inspiring: photos, handmade art and collectibles from the ‘60s. I was changed forever when my brother approached me with a box, simply saying, “You need to see this.” It was a box full of resistors and capacitors with a soldering iron neatly coiled up and placed on top. At that moment, 3RD POWER was born and became my 'life’s mission' to pursue the extraordinary and to do it without fear of failure."

A Modern Amplifier Revolution
On the future of 3RD POWER, Scott says, "Arguably, it's been over 40 years since the last big amplifier revolution and I think we're about due for another. This is our mission!"
